Pier-2

Telescope

This is a Peter Shah built "656 telescopes" Corrected Dall Kirkham with a nice flat field and a moderate speed for the aperture at F6.8.

At 2015mm it's a great focal length that opens up a different type of imaging like galaxy & planetary nebula whilst still allowing you to be able to image some of the medium size emission nebula.

The QSI26m Camera Mono CMOS is one of Sony's new generation zero amp glow sensors. They are super sensitive with very low noise. Making them a paradigm shift from the CCD cameras we are all used to using, and require much shorter exposures.

Please note: The maximum sub length we will do on this pier are 300 seconds
