Telescope

Sigma 105mm ART lens stopped down to F/3.2 for better star shapes.

This is a very fast F/2.8 system & when used with a CMOS sensor, the longest exposure needed for this pier is 180 seconds

CMOS Camera

The ZWO ASI-2600MC Pro Colour CMOS is one of Sony's new generation zero ampglow sensors. They are super sensitive with very low noise.

We have also added some of the latest generation IDAS filters like the D3, NBZ etc which allows you to perform narrowband imaging with the system

Sony IMX571

Back illuminated CMOS Sensor
23.5x15.7mm

Although Pier-11 has a OSC Camera we have also added some modern Dual/Triband fiters designed for narrowband imaging etc
IDAS LPS-D3 RGB -

Enhance the contrast of astronomical emission nebulae against a sky with both man-made and natural* sky glow sources, yet preserve the colour balance of broadband objects such as galaxies. As with other IDAS interference filters, the bandpasses are designed to accommodate the steep ray angles of fast optical systems.

IDAS NBZ Ha/O3 HS -
The defacto high speed dual-band filter from IDAS, low halo high contrast and works well down to F1.4
IDAS NBZ S2/O3 -
This one is new to us also, seemed silly not to fit it for full narrowband imaging however
Bayer Matrix

When you receive your data, at first glance it may appear green, this is normal because One shot colour cameras have a bayer matrix over the sensor, this particular sensor has a RGGB bayer matrix and you will need to de-bayer it as part of your calibration and stacking process in your chosen software.
