Hi Florent,

Scroll down to the bottom of the file list and it's there as P14-001063. We are still waiting for one of the panels, so I'll summarise them all then.

Just to avoid any confusion for anyone unaware of the situation. The job 1065 that is currently available for download unfortunately had the same coordinates as job 1066, a simple accident. The job 1065 still to be captured has the correct coordinates and will be the final missing panel.

No apologies necessary Richard. :)  Just one of the reasons I've just posted a suggestion on advising everyone on data issues, plus something on the mosaic data. :)

Hope you are okay and not inundated with work, unless that's a good thing to be.

Well some good news. We do have all the panels, so job 1065 will not now be needed. :) That should make Richard happy I hope. An oversight on my part as I only checked a few of the frames in the job 1065 we received earlier and they were all aligned with 1066.

So all the subs in job 1066 are correct as we know, but what I hadn't discovered up until now when I had the time is that 1065 contains both a set of subs for 1066 and 1065, the latter being the one I assumed was missing. How this may have occurred is a mystery. So basically we have 2 sets of job 1066 and one of 1065.

Will post an update tomorrow.

Please at your earliest convenience remove the job 1065 Phil. Pretty please.

Edit. It is now tomorrow and I notice that job 1065 was almost completed last night, so, pretty, pretty please Phil don't remove it as that additional data may prove useful.

Standing by with a fire extinguisher right now. If you find yourself in the situation where star alignment appears to be stuck with the occasional error about not finding sufficient star matches, or something like that, then I suggest that you cancel the run. You may need to wait a short while. Then look at the output directory where the aligned subs were being written noting down the last one. Then look at the source directory containing the files being aligned and then view the file(s) immediately after that. You should then be able to establish what the problem was. It could be a problem where the mount was temporarily misaligned and successive subs not of the target, or, they were for the other panel.

Cheers,

Ray

Please look in the Pier 14 advisory posting for details of what needs moving out of job 1065 into job 1066.
