Recently I asked Mr A. to suggest a suitable target for Pier 12 using about 12 hours of time. He generously suggested that he'd collaborate on a project and contribute a similar amount of time. It was left to him to pick a target which I didn't find out until I received the data, and indeed what a wizard choice he made.

The subs were mostly 600 secs and I used 18 x Ha, 33 x O3 and 54 x S2 of those, plus 19 of 900secs in Ha.

The attached image represents the current limits of my processing, so given the amount of detail that is in this excellent data, I look forward to seeing images from those entitled to receive the EarlyBird data.

Hi Phil,

Thank you for your nice comment, and for your prompt response to my ticket regarding this great set of data. Hope all is well there in Birmingham.

It may well be worth mentioning and demonstrating to Steve before his imminent visit to Spain, that if a pier is not exactly perpendicular you don't correct the tilt by hitting it with a sledge hammer! Tell him that there are adjustment bolts to do this when attaching the mount. He must have hit it very hard to actually bend it I guess. :)

All the best,

Ray

GREAT IMAGE RAY AND LOTS OF DETAIL. A THUMBS UP FROM ME! WELL DONE. I WAS WAITING FOR ONE OF YOUR IMAGES TO APPEAR AND I MUST ADMIT I WOULD NOT MIND PROCESSING SOME DATA FOR THE WIZARD!

TAKE CARE MY FRIEND AND HAVE A GOOD NIGHT.

Hi Simon,

Thanks for the kind comments it's really appreciated.  :) It really helped me on this one by having that amount of data in my constant battle balancing noise and detail. :)  I've just noticed that you have already posted your image, very impressive.

I know I've repeatedly said this, but thank you for all the images you are posting. It may just be a lull due to work and other commitments I'm sure, but the numbers of forum posts and images has dramatically dropped recently. I will really make an effort to follow your lead and contribute by posting a lot lot more myself.

Looking forward to seeing some more in the weeks ahead, when your time permits.

Best wishes,

Ray
