Does anyone know the diameter of the secondary mirror on Pier 1??

Regrading Read Noise, I've never had so much difficulty tracking down specs!

The Starizona website says "Typical System Noise: 8e-" for the FLI ML8300-M:
https://starizona.com/store/imaging/cameras/ccd/fli-8/fli-microline-ml8300-monochrome

However the OnSemi website says "Total Sensor Noise: 16e-" for the KAF-8300 sensor:
https://www.onsemi.com/pub/Collateral/KAF-8300-D.PDF

Unfortunately, the FLI website is not helpful at all.

Does anyone know the facts? Just from experience 8e- sounds right given the pixel size of 5.4um.

Thanks,
Brian

give or take a small amount yes it’s correct

pete will no doubt chime in on the secondary size in the next day or so

i think I may add this detail once gleaned to the equipment page for future users as well :)

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!

Thanks, Steve. Regarding the Secondary, if I can't find the actual value I estimate it by taking 33% the diameter of the Primary.
