IC434 (Horsehead nebula) taken using the Ha/O3 dual filter on Pier 5 (job 2371). 73 x 120 sec subs for an integration time of 2hrs 26mins.

This job also includes OSC data. I had intended to combine the two sets, but the OSC data does not, so far, add much to the image for me. The glare from Alnitak and Alnilam dominates. I will keep playing around and see if I can find a use for it.

Surprisingly Alnitak is fairly well controlled in this image whereas Alnilam is not. The Ha emission around Alnitak seems to push it more into the background, whereas Alnilam is against dark sky. Everything I did to try and reduce the glare for Alnilam seemed to make the image look worse, so I left it.
