First time, looking around, looks pretty cool, been around remote imaging and astronomy social media for many years, looks like a great resource.

Hi and also welcome to the forum.

A couple of interesting things on your list of interests I see, aeronautics and astrobiology. I prefer my feet firmly planted on the ground unless it's in something with at least 2 engines, preferably 4.  Being nosey, is your interest in astrobiology limited to our solar system or more distant? Now an extremely stupid and silly question, my trademark. If such a thing as a Triffid (John Wyndham) was found to exist, would it be classified in astrobiology as a plant or animal? My money is on a plant. :)

I'm Ray,  just one of the members. Phil who first replied to you is one of the roboscopes team. Steve and Peter are the others and all are in the most part very helpful.

Again, welcome.

Interested in all sources of astrobiology; planet, moon, asteroid, comet, exoplanet, exomoon, exoasteroid, exocomet, and if Andy Weir’s new novel Project Hail Mary holds water, stellar astrophage, even plant panspermia in the form of Triffids or comet bourne pandemics, hmm…..

Nice to meet you thx for the introductions
