Like you we are learning also, pretty sure Phil will add tweaks over the next few weeks. Likes, thank you's, and email confirmations once you are subscribed to a section.

The good news is this one will allow you to subscribe to a whole section as well as a single post so you can subscribe to the new data on your specific pier for example :)

The main reason for the change was the previous one was so limited and the editor that was used for posting was a little agricultural to say the least so we decided to get into this decade with the forum :)

The Vote feature on posts is essentially the Thank you button.

Talking of agricultural you're replying to someone who was raised when horses were pulling ploughs. Be prepared for a lot of stupid questions in the coming weeks.
