Most likely the latter option.

Okay can anyone explain this?

Job/submission 1072 was downloaded and notified to us on August 13th. I imagine that is about when I would have downloaded it. With so much data being received it's not always possible to look at each one, especially when working on a large project.

It was announced on September 20th job that 1151 would be available the next day. I did have a quick look and found just some subs using the blue and green filters. Looking at the Job submission there is a note to say that these are the missing Blue and Green subs needed for submission 1072. Fine, except that when I did look at that job/submission that also contained just Blue and Green subs?????

This gets crazier. The subs in 1072 which I presumed were for the original job, but as it appears weren't, were captured on August 10th and 11th just a few days before Phil notified us of their availability. That matches up. The mystery is that job 1151 we received yesterday was submitted on August 24th that's up to 11 days after we'd already received them as 1072?

Timeline:

Aug 13th - job 1072 made available. This contains 30 blue and 12 green, captured Aug 10th and 11th

Aug 24th - job 1151 submitted. This says it's for the subs missing in 1072? 30 blue and 12 green???

Sep 21st - we receive job 1151. This contains 30 blue and 12 green but captured in September.

Any logical explanation anyone.

Where was the original data with the luminance, red and some green data. It's most likely I failed to download it, but I cannot find any job prior to 1072 for those objects. Not any problem for me missing out on it, I'd just like an explanation of events. Maybe Phil went down a wormhole and upon his return entered the job before it was requested here on planet earth.

Desperately seeking help,

Hi Ray,

I have just checked the data I have for Job 1072 here and it has:

18 x Green @ 300s

50 x Lum @ 180s

30 x Red @ 300s

Which are correct..

Hi Phil,

Thanks for looking into this and apologies for taking up your time.

I suspected that I must have failed to download the complete data you mention at the time it was first available, but still puzzled by what I do have as 1072. Exactly the right amount of missing subs but which were captured before Mike requested them. Maybe there was an oversized wormhole in the garden you didn't notice, or you're psychic. Any suggestions for the weekend lottery?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Ray

Florent thank you for confirming my sanity. :) I've since sent a message to Phil with an explanation over what probably occurred. If you know anything about me you'll know it won't be a short explanation. :) I've nearly worn my index (typing) finger down to the knuckle today with all the messages, so please forgive me not explaining here. You'd thank me in the end. :)

I'm hoping Phil will be able to let us have a download of what both he and Mike has, that is part 1 of 2 sets of original data.

Cheers,

Ray

I can only assume the incorrect set was uploaded in the first place - I do not know.

as I said earlier I have reuploaded the proper set.

Have checked them. All present and correct. :)  Plus we now have some additional blues and greens.

You're a star Phil, I'll sleep easy tonight and not wake up in a cold sweat dreaming of wormholes or going back to the future.

Cheers

I’d check the fits of the blues and greens to be honest and make sure you’ve not ended up with same subs.

Hi Phil,

Thanks for the suggestion but that was the first thing I did after discovering the anomaly, and I can confirm that they are all different.

Fantastic work you have been doing in the background regarding job queues and submissions. :)

Cheers,
