Hi All,

From today all pier syndicate submissions will be saved into the database and can be viewed by the new "View Submissions" page located in your Syndicate menu at the top of the site.

Points of Note:
  1. This list currently shows the last 100 submitted items in descending order (not any that have been done prior to today)[/*]
  2. The list is in it's infancy as I have just made a quick page for you guys to use, so nothing special as of yet[/*]
  3. The list currently shows anything submitted via either P13 or P14 and this will be updated soon to check if the person viewing the list has access to the respective syndicate and output only the relevant pier.[/*]
  4. The list is static, meaning no modifications can be done to it.[/*]

If you have any suggestions then please suggest away.

Hi Phil,

Looks like it will be useful.

I just submitted a job and it immediately popped up in the database. Very satisfying.

Can think of lots of additions, but it risks making it more complex.

I often don't put a single object smack in the middle of the frame, because with such a wide field I am moving things around for framing or for a planned mosaic. The submission form and the database only give coordinates selected. It would be useful to have an optional short text field to describe roughly what the submitter is up to.

With only a few subscribers we can always ask what filters and subs are in the job through the Lounge. If the number of subscribers increases it would be useful to know what is in each job. For example, if someone is doing an LRGB image of a target I am interested in, I could perhaps add an Ha job if I wanted to add that to an image. In that way we are not duplicating work, but making the maximum advantage of the imaging time.

Just to follow on from your reply old_eyes I am also adding a text field for notes and the items in the list will be clickable soon so that a popup screen will show with the relevant filter information for that item :) I am however still in the midst of coding that area and this these features or not yet available.

kind regards
