Morning :)

Awaiting final confirmation with Covid stuff at the moment but if all goes well we leave on the 18th Feb to do our maintenance trip that's already been put back a few times because of travel restrictions

Pier-14 will stay up as long as we can and then of course be back up as fast as we can

Depending on the final poll, which at present looks like option 2 is way ahead the work that needs doing is:

  1. Fitting new 2600mm pro camera and adapters
  2. flattening sensor
  3. Fit new 2" mounted Antlia LRGBHOS 3nm filters
  4. Keep the camera angle the same or pretty close
  5. take new Calibration frames

I am sure you will all be happy to hear about the new filters as they will give more contrast and tighter narrowband stars not to mention smaller halos than the Baader filters

Any problems or suggestions if I have missed anything please let me know

Steve

Nice to hear about those filters. Did you find a good deal on ebay? :)
