It's clear out the roof better not be closed.

Happy to see the Roof Status says open. I just hope it hasn't been closed for the last 6 hours.

Roof closes if we get a large almost 100% Dew/Humidity spike, whether the skies are clear or not!

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!

I am unsure where you got to your conclusion but the roof actually closed 6 separate times last night for no more than 10 minutes each time. And was open the rest of the duration.

The roof status icon was red with a close, but then relief when I saw it was green and open. Would have been a bit disappointing to wake up and find out the roof was closed all night. I am really looking forward to clear nights.

Do all the scopes have to park when the roof closes? The humidity sensor must be interrupting your sleep if you get a notification each time the roof closes.

The roof icons you see on here are not live and will only update with a page refresh. Furthermore the ‘heartbeat’ from the roboscopes observatory only occurs when the internet is up and available. The heartbeat is what updates the statuses.

During weather events some scopes park and others will just switch the tracking off. Needless to say our sleep isn’t interrupted all night by notifications. Although we do receive them for roof events.

the roof is entirely controlled by our custom roof control software and thus fully automated.
