Job 1195 is a broadband image of the Double Cluster. I processed this to see what it looked like. The Double Cluster is spectacular in binoculars, but often disappointing in a telescope as it fades into the background star field. So I thought it would be interesting to look at a widefield image. When I processed it I got blue haloes around most of the stars. Here is a zoom into one of the clusters: RGB_Crop.jpg If I look at the individual filters, I see this for R & G:   R_Crop.jpg   G_Crop.jpg And this for B: B_Crop.jpg Bloated stars in B. I looked through all the blue subs and essentially they are all the same. Should I recapture the blue filter? Is it a fundamental problem with the blue filter (not noticed it elsewhere)? Or have I done something in the processing (can't think what)? Let me know your thoughts.

i vent proceed the files yet  but maybe applying a Luminisoty extract only from R part of the data  will reduce blue halo ?

i dont think about dew as it will be present in R or G part.
