I am pleased to have some data from pier 7 to process and this is IC 2574. Sadly, significant numbers of the subs were clouded over or out of focus, but I managed to use the best ones I had. The image comprises of 36 reds, 11 greens, 6 blues and 47 luminances. They were 5 minutes long each. The integration time is thus 8 hours and 20 minutes... Thanks everyone!

Hi Simon,

Only just discovered you on Astrobin. Crikey, you've been at it for quite a while I see. That's doing astrophotography I mean, wouldn't want to start any unfounded rumours now. :)

Now after putting the details into the U235 app, that's one difficult target, so well done on that. So much stuff out there I'm sure many like me have never considered. These images you and others post are great for others to see beforehand if they wish to try them for themselves.  I really must find some more time myself and get stuck into some of those you've shown us.

Spending a lot of time waiting for my poor laptop to work its way through the multi gigabyte datasets from pier 14. Rewarding, but I really need a desktop with a threadripper processor and about 128gb memory and 40 inch 4k monitor. No chance of that happening at any time, so I'll plod on.

Keep posting these fine images Simon,

Best wishes,

Ray
