Hi All,

For some of the recent jobs, I have found many out-of-focus frames. I wonder if there are systematic errors for this Pier.

Please let me know your thoughts and experiences.

Thanks

Whilst working on the focusing for this pier, we noticed some trailing on longer frames. We have now done a new T-Point tracking & pointing model (3/9/22) so this is is sorted but you may find some longer subs before this date have trailing

Morning everyone,

After much testing and remote messing around Pier-14 is now back up and running. it was a mechanical issue in the focuser EAF coupler that was hard to locate. it had loosened as a result of Spanish temperatures and was causing a small amount of focus slop

We still have the usual early evening FSQ tube contraction cool down to contend with which is typical and nothing we can do about that :)

PS

All jobs that were inputted into P-13 will be completed and shared but as from today we are back using P14 as standard with any new jobs :)
