New additions to Telemetry!

Stolen for the short term while I wait for mine to arrive I will ask them to give the pc a kicj so it updates again

when I get 5 mins I will also order a seeing monitor but that will be in the new yesr I think

The cams are running in real-time. Such a sight to see! I'll be sure to keep an eye on the night-time feed. I do watch the SkyAlert system throughout the night and sometimes the conditions border on switching to "cloudy" status. I am very interested to see what the sky cams show when that happens.

The Sky Alert was purchased for two reasons, customer viewing and as a backup to our Solo/AAG combo

if I am honest I preferred the latter as it’s fair easier to tweak to suit current ambient temperature in relation to sky temperature Etc. Although all of them struggle with high thin cloud if I am honest.

As it happens I was in talks with Jamie at Lunatico a few weeks ago about upgrading his FTP and software so we could have our SOLO output onto our website.

Jamie said he will get it done over the summer for us. I am looking forward to this as I find it very easy to use and informative even if agricultural in design.

I have no idea where the "E-Eye Mono AllSky Camera" is located but someone sure loves to turn on floodlights around midnight!

I've actually co-operated with someone at eEye before and we also saw the person responsible turning lights on and sometimes letting visitors near the scopes, some even touching the equipment. We weren't very happy with that. Anyway, are there cams I can check out?

From RoboScope's Location tab, there is a menu item named Telemetry:

The camera lens needs a good thorough cleaning. The images do not auto-update so you need to click your browser's refresh button. Also you may want to refresh when you visit the page. For some reason my browser is caching the images.

I believe that Steve is working on setting up cams at our site.

The mono camera is 800m away down A steepish hill and the light you see around midnight is the closest neighbour who again is 800m or so further down the track so at least 1600m away behind trees and 50m lower down.

the colour all sky is around 30m away however and gives a far better view of the sky’s where we are located 

nobody has access you our Apollo11 building as it’s not a joint building with many peoples equipment sharing the space , the equipment belongs to me or people who have collaborated with me so nobody has any reason to go in our building
