Good grief.

Stay away from the warm room for several days and come back to a multitude of new images. I wouldn't want to link anyone with OCD, but.......

Really diverse and great looking so apologies for not responding sooner. The problem I may now face is that I may never ever catch up, so people slow down a bit. :)  I mean it's not as if you need to rush.I think you'll find that if you reimage any of those targets in a couple of months time you'd be hard pushed to notice any changes between the images. Just a thought.

Thanks for sharing and I'll slowly get on with my critiques.

Rather than start a new 'Off Topic' post I'll throw this question in here.

Phil, when Steve offers to make you a cup of tea, please reassure me that he doesn't insist on you supplying your own tea bag?

Finally, please, pretty please, pretty pretty please..... I'd really appreciate some calibration files for the new camera setup on pier 6. With not having seen any images yet from that setup I'm wondering if I'm the only person using it. That sounds highly improbable, but what are others doing. I'm hoping these will clean up the images I have. Now this could be just a personal favour for me, so these would suffice.

Bias, if you think they're needed, 180s and 300s darks, and flats for the 3 narrowband filters. This is kind of a major issue for me now since I have accumulated 30 hours of data from that camera. I'd like to book more time, but this is rather a disincentive to doing so. I've downloaded the new calibration data for pier 3 and try them out.

Cheers.,

Ray (Better to use six words even when one would suffice, are my middle names)

Morning Ray

Bias frames are not needed on pier 6 just darks and flats :)

I 100% supply the teabags I swear :)

Hi Steve,

That's good to know. I was going to ask Phil if he had any preference on brands, and send a box to your premises. That's saved me having to do so. :)

Cheers,

Ray

Gosh, sensing a bit of tension developing. Chill out the two of you.

How about at the next Star Party in East Anglia I buy you both a cup of tea. Now if you get those calibration frames done real soon, I'll include biscuits and/or cakes of your choosing.

Now kids used to be told 'kiss and make up' , but not sure if these days that is PC, and certainly it flouts social distancing rules. Anyway, what are two grown men supposed to do? :)

Topic closed I think.

Sorry guys, :(

Crikey Steve things must be tough. Looking at the mugs it looks like it was Phil's turn for the cuppa. :) I'd send a box of tea bags but they'd probably try to deliver it when no one was there. However you have proved your point.
