Pier-22

Telescope & Camera

Not a lot I can say about this scope that's not already been said before, this one however is fitted with the awesome F/3.6 645 large format reducer so has excellent stars and colour correction making the most of the 35mm sensor.

This one is combined with a Player One Zeus 35mm Mono camera and Astronomik Max FR filters, it's a fast system to gather a lot of remote data quickly

In most cases the maximum sub length we will do on this pier is 300s, for most of the brighter objects shorter subs will be better however

  • About this syndicate...

This pier is not part of our standard syndicate offerings as it's Roboscopes staff own personal equipment and we want to build a small group of people who want to perform research into SNR and other oddities so using this pier will involve a lot of mapping and groundwork. With over 275 clear nights a year it should be fun :)

Whatever we discover, members of the team get to have there name in lights on Astrobin etc

Along the way taking this much data there will be plenty of opportunity to get decent data sets of many familiar objects I am sure, so you won't be short of decent datasets for processing I think :)

This pier will have a maximum of 5 individual members making 6 in total with RoboAdmin team, once that quota is reached I will close the membership page.

We would very much like to run this syndicate as a group of like-minded people with similar objectives where the members suggest, decide and plan on what's entered into the pier queue, to that end I will either open a dedicated Discord/telegram section where this can be done

This pier will in the not to distant future will become a twin imaging system with matching FSQ scopes
