Pier 12 is having a camera upgrade.  This will require a new set of calibration frames to be generated.  Would it be possible to make available an LRGB and Ha/OIII/SII data set available to test the upgrade while there are people on-site? Dave
Hi Dave, Are you asking for FLATS ? or an actual dataset?

Phil Because of the change of camera, a complete set of darks, flats and bias frames will need to be generated.  I am requesting some actual data.  This way the equipment upgrade can be validated while people are still at site and if any issues emerge they can be rectified. As you will be aware from my recent Help Desk tickets (Pier 3 darks and Pier 12 L flats), quality of calibration frames is an area where testing and inspection would be beneficial. Dave

Dave to be honest we simply did not have the time for imaging or the weather for that matter while we were away on this trip. to many mechanical work needed doing however we did managed the darks and the bias frame and are now part way though the flats also. they should all be finished for when the weather breaks Steve
