Can anyone tell me what happens to a jpeg image posted into the Gallery. Is it down sampled?
Viewing a recently added jpeg image to the Gallery of M101, which had to be much resampled [8 MB approx], there is an absence of detail. I might as well have just posted the stack. Viewing the same image on my computer it is sharper even when zoomed in at 300%.
I'm puzzled. I'm adding the same image here to see if there is any difference.
