That is a great image indeed Manuel and a good choice from the dozens of datasets available to pick from. It's unfortunate that we need to do so much processing up front just to find out if something is going to turn out half decent, so thank you for this one. :)  I've now added it to my long and ever growing list. Thanks for sharing.

This is my version of the same data.

I don't seem to have the same separation you achieved between the SNR and the rest of the nebulosity, and it is missing some warmth. I also found quite a lot of O3 signal amongst the broader nebulosity.

But it is what it is.

Well... beautiful nevertheless and simply a different interpretation of the data. FYI, I am using masks to increase the separation. Sometimes the colour masks from PI are enough, other times I use for example the Oiii data to create a mask.
