M81 and M82 data from Pier 4, I selected 60 frames out of the set discarding a few with a slight bit of haze.
Processed in Pixinsight and Photoshop
Thanks for looking

This is a superb image Peter, and I really have no clue how you extract and process what you do out of the same data that the rest of us use! Truly superb!!!

Thank you Simon. I do a very careful calibration in Pixinsight, all the linear work done  before taking into photoshop and then processed there. The signal is hidden but strong , you will be able to pull that IFN out.. try and revisit it , do some real hard processing and  take it past the noise level to get a feel of how far it will go.

I have done a reprocess, I felt the black although not clipped I had hidden some of the real faint stuff causing it to look a little contrasty ....Plus I was never happy with the star colour... so I've done some work on that. I have also added some colour data I took a few years back from my 12in Newtonian to both 81 and 82 to make them shine a little.
