I wonder if it would be possible to even up the background more? Especially the blue haze around Psi- and Lambda-Eridani.

Perhaps one of our processing gurus has an idea. I would not know where to start! I find it really difficult to deal with the colour cast caused by bright stars.

Thanks!  I thought I'd leave a bit of colour in it as it was hard enough to drag out that much detail...  Pete did show me how to reduce star glare in PS - perhaps I'll have a go, but on to the next one for now ;-)

That's a great result Mark from what is not a lot of data. I imagine that it would have been quite difficult to get a lot of colour out of it without the rest of the image being affected. That involves having to spend more time on it. Definitely an image to go back to at a later date though. Thanks for sharing.
