This would have been in the forefront when Roboscopes was being discussed, so I hope I'm not stepping on anyones toes posting this.  On the site there is already an area designated on each pier that shows/will show examples of images taken. I wonder if this is to simply show potential users a few good examples, or, is intended to display all really excellent images users have taken and posted. On the latter, would the Robo_Staff upload the images and if so how could we recommend to them images we've seen and would like to see on display. All this is obviously subject to the approval of the imager.  If the intention is to show a limited number of images, perhaps there may come a need to have a showcase area where people visiting the site can see examples of what can be achieved. Again nominations would be necessary.  Would people be willing to post their images to astronomy publications and submit to the Robotic Scope category in the annual APOTY competition, giving a mention to the site. Would be great publicity.  Talk about verbal diarrhoea! Despite the info showing about me I am making a commitment to the site and am a Gold member, that's on the site, not on American Express. So perhaps such information (pier info post) and promotion of images be limited to gold and platinum membership?
Hi Ray, some good points there which I will let Steve answer for you ?  I believe Steve would like to include a gallery on the site for this very reason ?
