Thanks for that Ray I have asked Mike if I can kindly alter is M33 on the narrowband front as the HA subs were too short and 300s OIII were somewhat unusual unless you planned to do a starless image in dual band. However even for that image the HA subs would have still needed to be longer the OIII can always be re-added if you all feel its a great idea but personally I think its far harder and less fruitful than collecting SII on the helix and that's thankless enough LOL Steve

Steve, Thanks for making the necessary changes. Perhaps you could throw some light on the earlier M31 deep image job 1039 which is not conforming to what I've been given to understand. This job reached 100% completion a short while ago, but this reverted back to 84% a few days later. There is probably an explanation for that. However, that job is shown in blue in the submission queue indicating that it has completed, and the data is available for us to download. That is not what I would have expected to happen. It's either completed or not. Just noticed that it has now restarted with the moon out of the way, with it having gone to 88% apparently on July 31st and to 96% after last night. I guess that it will complete 'again' by tomorrow. Puzzling. Anyway, both me and especially my ancient Windows 7 laptop I use for downloading, are hoping that only the additional 16% of new data is made available to us. The original one took long enough. I appreciate that you alone will not have all the answers right now, but at some stage an explanation of what happened would be gratefully received. Rumours of Spain going into the red zone. Cheers, Ray

from memory Ray Some extra HA was added to help all of you pull the extra background detail out in M31 as even Mike was struggling to get the background to separate from the noise floor However I am doing this from memory so I will ask Peter if I am correct on my assumptions HTH Steve

Hi Steve, Thanks for the swift reply. That sounds like a plausible explanation, however, if I and anyone else is in that situation we simply add a new submission. That makes it much clearer for everyone and results in a separate download of just the additional data. Cheers, Ray

Yes it's because of the extra HA - I marked it complete at the time so you guys know to download. I will upload the extra data once it's completed and append - Extra HA- to the end of the filename and would just let you guys know here.
