Hi Florent,
You've done a really good job on that very wide panorama. It covers most of the region between -10 & - 20
degrees and appears to include M24 up to Ngc6604 and 'scary face' gum 84. Took a while to find out what that last thing was called. It's great to see that you have given us the subs to remove, that'll save time.
It looks like you could probably extract M16 as a crop from that. I find that doing that often gives more flexibility in playing around (technical term), with the colours. I find that much more difficult to do when having to deal with larger areas contain multiple objects, but that might just be me. If you do do that, then try using the pier 1 job 1100 as the luminance.
Looking forward to getting the Heart and North American nebula jobs that you submitted. That'll give me a chance to try including RGB stars with narrowband and see what a mess I can make of it. I may be asking for help on that in the not too distant future, should my plan 'a' not work out.

to join the mosaic , i use a old programm AutoPano giga , a wonderful tools i used to make 360 panorama in photography. it is very very robust , but the soft has been sold to Gopro and a few months later , GoPro has removed it...... such a pity
for the color , with mask you can adjust the color of the different part , the problem is the computer to deal with 1G tiff file . Each adjustement is recalculated and after a while i give up to get the color i realy want.
i think that 3 or 4 pane mosaic is my limit, do much trouble after

Thanks for the info, it's good to share things. I was aware of AutoPano giga but have stuck with the tools in Adobe and have tried microsoft ice on a Heart and Soul mosaic, but that didn't handle it very well. That's a shame that Gopro ditched it, but then are you not still able to use it? As far as terrestrial photography goes, my snaps didn't justify spending out on additional software like that AutoPano.
Regarding colour masks I only find them useful on individual items because often without editing the mask it can lead to unwelcome changes in places you don't want. Personally I'm finding a 2 panel my limit, but when pier 14 goes native I'm probably going to have to cope with a 2 x 2 or 3 x 1. Hopefully we'll not have the star issues to deal with.
