Hi Steve,
When you're back at work next week after your short vacation in Spain, would you please answer a few questions.
First, to tie up a loose end. Although it will not let you do so when you select it, in the list of piers that can be booked hourly, pier 7 (hosted) is still appearing in that list.
1) Would you let us know which syndicate piers require new flats, that is those which were worked on. I'm assuming these are just piers 2 and 14. We were informed earlier that pier 1 would be binned 1x1 and new flats were already being done for that.
2) When the weather gods eventually decide to give us a break in the clouds, then if 1) above is correct can we assume the syndicate piers 3 and 5 will just continue from where they were prior to the visit. In the post informing us of the planned visit collimation tweaks to pier 5 were mentioned, which one might assume would require new flats. Can you please confirm whether the tweaks were carried out or not.
3) I'm not part of the pier 1 syndicate but what is the situation regarding the current pier queue. Should they all be reset to 0% completed after making the jobs partly completed available to the members.
4) Subject to the successful carrying out of final calibrations and testing here, was the setup of pier 15 completed in Spain? If so, can you please give us an idea of the hourly cost. Is it the 200mm f4 Askar with the full frame 6200 sensor?
5) Was pier 12 fitted with a new camera?
If anyone thinks of anything else regarding the visit you would like to ask, please add it here.
Cheers,
Ray

Hi all
The weather on the last trip was not the best with it being the beginning of wet season and this hindered us greatly with some jobs but it meant we finally got the new flat panels installed and do a lot of other much needed observatory maintenance however. We did still get most of the work on my list completed apart from collimation on Pier-5 & 6
We are still catching up on sleep after a tough few weeks work and mammoth journey back, so flats will be done over the coming week as we feel up to it.

1) This has now been removed. It was a dead link left behind.
2) Piers 3 and 5 will capture datasets from the start again.
3) syndicate 1 didn't receive any partial data, as the system hasn't changed.
4) Pier 15 was completed, in Steve's answer it's listed as hosted, not hourly.
5) No.
Steve will be combing the website for any inaccuracies shortly.
