I want to make a big mosaic of the area around Deneb and Sadr.
Here is an impression, it is a mosaic of 6 panels.
What do you think of this?
Exposure times can be kept short.
An hour per panel is good enough.
I do make 50 subs of 2 minutes per exposure time because you usually have to throw away a number of subs.
At least that's my experience.

I forgot to be clear. The mosaic has been made with pier 5.

It's not an example from the net.

Hi Mike,

Excellent result you've produced from those existing 6 panels already captured. Given the relatively short amount of integration time required for these, I think it's a good idea.

I see that this is to extend the current mosaic a bit northwards, any ambitious plans to eventually go south? Maybe that region has already been done.

There would be a possibility of combining the lbn310 mosaic with the already submitted one for the North American nebula, by extending that as well. Any thoughts?

 Cheers,

Ray

Hi Ray,

I want to extend this first to the north. (two rows )

And I hope to use the data which has been made already.

That would be fantastic if it is possible.

Observation time is precious

Cheers,

Mike
