That's a great follow up to your Crescent nebula image, with lots of detail and lack of noise. I now have data from pier 2 of the Helix but unlike you and Peter, who recently posted his version from pier 2, I'm struggling to extract as much of what I see in this and Peter's images. All I end up with is increased noise in trying to reveal more. Thanks for sharing and inspiration to try and keep on improving. Cheers, Ray

Hi,  I have all the right software, but lack the skills and full understanding to make the best use of them. I use pixinsight and Adobe creative cloud. It's just a case of plodding on and slowly learning more from the videos online posted by others and seeing what other people have achieved from almost similar data. I always look forward to seeing what other people have done here on the forum.  Cheers,  Ray

you can learn from the online tutorials, but ..in my opinion it is important to have a prepared guide. a few years ago I did several days of courses with a professional who taught me a lot

Thanks for the suggestion however I've now reached the age where there's a limit to what I can take in at one time.  So learning slowly at my own pace is not just more practical but free. Your images are a great recommendation for what you suggested I could do, but I'll plod on slowly and maybe one day they'll be something that will do it all for me. Alternatively, a memory defragmenter to reorganise brains so that mine isn't having to do millions of seeks/searches to locate something every time. It certainly feels that's what's happening.   I appreciate your interest in trying to helping me out Morph3us.  Thanks,  Ray
