Other than a few test shots this is the first real data set I've processed since setting up this Pier....I really love it.

Wow, the colours are stunning here Peter...  This is just 2hrs of RGB data from the recent request?

Incredible that these scopes can still shoot so well at low altitude - the Eagle peaks at 38 degrees over there by my calcs :)

Yes its the latest M16 RGB set from Pier 9 uploaded yesterday....I have done quite a lot of work on the focus routines on almost all of the scopes.....so I think that has helped a lot, although there was a small issue with the focus in the green channel so I had to do some processing to repair that... but nothing stopping it from being a really nice data set.

Very nice image Peter.

This is my first attempt. I have not brought out as much detail, but it is a good start (for me anyway!).

Some more work to do on the fine structure.

An amazing data set for only 2 hours imaging!

thats a nice shot there....there is some narrow band data on the way too....M16 is pretty bright, the short subs helped
