As you all know we implemented a new priorities algorithm a couple of months ago which is working very well, however we believe with a few small tweaked we can improve on the system after monitoring its effectiveness since implementation. The existing system placed all narrowband into priority 0 where as the new system puts only HA in the lowest priority band OIII has been moved one level up due to its shorter wave lengths thus making it more susceptible to the moons influence in its larger phases. SII has been moved up one priority due to its weaker signal strength with most objects. New settings: Priorities - Piers fitted with Mono cameras and filters: Comets = Priority 4 Luminance filter = Priority 4 RGB Filters = Priority 2 OIII & SII = Priority 1 HA = Priority 0 Priorities - Piers fitted with colour cameras All deep sky projects = 0 priority Comets = Priority 1

Please ignore my dylexia wherever possible, just be thankful I can control my Tourettes ;)

Things to do, so little time!
