Hi Richard,

As Manuel has just saidnthat's very nice and I wouldn't have been able to tell that it was a mosaic.

Thanks again for sharing your images which personally are a great help. With dozens of jobs from pier 5 sitting waiting to be processed, these are helping to prioritise them for when I start in earnest. I'm considering throwing a whole bunch of them into WBPP one day, with each job in a group folder, and letting it run. Might take a day or two I guess, but at least I'll have an early idea what to expect thanks to people like you sharing their results. :)

You must be pleased with the great progress you've made. I remember back to our early attempts when we first joined pier 14. Having said that, the mighty mosaic of the North America nebula including both the Pelican and Clam Shell you did, was very impressive. Have you considered revisiting it?

Best regards,

Ray

Yes, we are having a disappointing period of weather at my home observatory (why is it that the sky only clears at the full moon?), so I am trying to do a bit of a catchup. So much good data still to go!

Fortunately :-(, I am having camera problems on my narrowband rig at home, so more time to think about the Roboscopes data.

Revisiting older projects is attractive as I build my processing skills (in other words - start to cut out the stupid mistakes). I think I could do a better job of the Heart and Soul mosaic we captured - the one where we got the coordinates wrong and generated a massive offset between the frames! The big NA mosaic would be another one to revisit, although the challenge would still be getting balanced signal from the Clamshell.

Thank you Manuel. Your own work has inspired me a lot. I look at some of your images and think, why don't mine look like that? Pushes me to do better.
